I reach out to wish you well on the celebration of your birth, 
Only to find that you have left this earth.
I missed your funeral by just one day,
So, I will have to say goodbye in my own way.
Lisa you always shone so bright,
Always so cheeky and full of delight.
Very genuine and down to earth,
So very funny and full of mirth.
I still say chicken lips to this very day,
Even though people think it strange.
Now when I say it, I will think of you,
A keepsake, a fun memory that will connect me to you.
